Description
This project consists of doing a Heritage Resource Inventory Survey of portions of the Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie. The objectives of this project shall be to: 1) locate and identify all heritage resources judged to be over 50 years of age, 2) provide a complete heritage resource inventory of the area, and 3) make a preliminary evaluation of significance, or eligibility for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. The Contractor shall review existing sources of information on heritage resources in and around the project area, conduct a complete coverage field inventory, analyze the results of this investigation, and prepare a heritage resource report documenting this information.
