- Description
- The United States Postal Service seeks to pre-qualify suppliers for a national utility bill auditing services contract. The scope of this requirement will include auditing electric, natural gas, propane, water, sewer and steam accounts for up to 37,000 Postal Service facilities. This audit review will include the identification, application and recovery of erroneous utility charges, and future rate adjustments to achieve a maximum rate of return to the Postal Service at the lowest possible cost. Suppliers interested in this contract must first be pre-qualified by the Postal Service. This pre-qualification includes the submission of a written statement of qualifications as outlined in the referenced solicitation. Pre-qualification statements will be accept up to COB 7/14/2004 @4PM. It is the intent of the Postal Service to pre-qualify suppliers for a contract implementation date of September 1, 2004. Three pilot audit projects will be completed by the successful supplier for up to 270 Postal Service Accounts on or before October 1, 2004. Solicitation #1AUTIL-04-A-1192 further defines the Statement of Work, required qualifications and submittal requirements. Pre-qualified Suppliers will then be eligible to submit a price proposal in a subsequent price proposal dated 08/13/2004.
