- On 15 April 2004, Naval Air Systems Command submitted an initial JPALS Request For Information (RFI) to Industry via FEDBIZOPS (follow-on was submitted on 30 April). This RFI provided a brief overview of the program, made current program information available via the PMA213 Specification web site, and requested written feedback from Industry in a number of areas related to the upcoming acquisition. As a result of this RFI, NAVAIR has determined that Industry has significant interest in JPALS related technology and acquisition. Additionally, the meaningful and constructive feedback received is proving significant as the program office refines management plans and acquisition strategies. Industry?s time and effort expended in responding to the JPALS RFI is recognized and appreciated. As introduced in the RFI, the initial JPALS Industry Day will be held on 21 July. Details for this event follow: When: 0900-1600 21 July 2004 (registration starts at 0800) Where: Titan Corporation (First floor conference room) 22290 Exploration Drive Lexington Park, MD 20653 Draft Agenda: (See below) Pre-Registration is required: Please call or e-mail POC below with names of attendees NLT 14 July 2004. Industry Day check-in is between 0800 and 0900 at the conference facility. Coffee, soft drinks and snacks will be provided. The session will break between 1130 and 1230 for lunch in the surrounding Lexington Park area. This will be a paperless Industry Day, but a CD with all briefings will be provided for all participants. These meetings will be held in the NAVAIR Washington Liaison Office located in Arlington (Crystal City), VA. All meetings will be unclassified, and visit request procedures will be provided when your appointment is made.
