- Description
- This solicitation is for the installation, maintenance, and connection service of satellite based data communications equipment at various locations within the country of Afghanistan. The type of contract intended is indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity. The initial performance period is intended to be from the award date until 30 Sep 04 with one option period of 365 days. THIS SOLICITATION IS INTENDED FOR COMMERCIAL ENTITIES WITH EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE SOUTHWEST ASIA THEATER, THEREFORE TRANSPORTATION OF PERSONNEL TO INSTALLATION LOCATIONS WITHIN THE COUNTRY OF AFGHANISTAN MUST BE INCLUDED IN UNIT PRICES AS AN OVERHEAD COST. The costs/methods of transportation/delivery of equipment/tools necessary for installation will be negotiated per-delivery order. The delivery time frame for each installation and/or delivery will be negotiated per-delivery order. This is being solicited as a commercial item, therefore pricing data is not necessary, nor will it be evaluated; this will be evaluated by pricing and technical capacity of the proposal only.
