- R--The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is soliciting a contractor, or contractors, to provide Facility Program and Project Assistant (FPPA) services to the service units located in the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska. The vendor will provide building assessment and construction inspection associated with Government funded facilities. The vendor will provide the monitoring of construction projects and will provide technical services to the Facilities Management Program in support of Area and Service Unit Facilities Management operations. The Area has been divided into a Northern Tier and a Southern Tier to accomplish the requested services. Technical services will include but not be limited to: Monitoring the effectiveness of the preventive maintenance program Monitoring of building systems equipment Annual General Inspections per Indian Health Service technical Manual Review of material submittals, methods of work, and shop drawings for construction, improvement, or repair projects Drafting of Construction in Progress and Final reports Reporting of energy conservation related utility usages Inspection of existing building systems for code compliance Preparation of draft drawings and specifications for improvements, alterations, and repair to government facilities that become apparent during the performance of any given task order. The contract will be a fixed-price, non-personal services, performance-based service contract and will be awarded for a one year period with four (4) one-year option periods.
