- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis a 12-18 month contract 223-04-4299 with GLH, Inc. to continue the data system to accumulate and report on results from industry, state and federal agencies, of milk testing for animal drug residues. From previous contracts, GLH, Inc. developed both the system to record data and the reporting system. The contract requires: expertise on analyses of milk for drug residues, including screening and laboratory methods used; requirements of the National Conference on Interstate Milk Shipments, state, federal, and industry that establish the testing requirements; maintenance and operation of the database system; interpretations, guidance, and information on the technical aspects of the data. GLH has refined and expanded the technical knowledge and expertise to provide comprehensive knowledge of the data and provide reports and is therefore uniquely capable of the maintenance of this project. Any source who believes it is capable of meeting FDA?s requirement as stated herein may submit a capability statement, which if received within 15 calendar days of the date of the announcement will be considered. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. SEE NOTE 22.
