- Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Construction Small Business Concerns interested in doing business with the U.S. Coast Guard in the First Coast Guard District (New England), are invited to submit company literature and a letter of intent to bid on various Coast Guard construction projects ranging from $25,000 to $500,000 throughout calendar years 2004 and 2005. This invitation is directed to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Construction Small business concerns under the various North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) construction codes under Sector 236 ? construction and renovations of buildings; Sector 237 - heavy and civil engineering construction; and Sector 238 - specialty trade contractors (i.e., roofing contractors, electrical contractors, concrete contractors, structural steel contractors, plumbing contractors, painting contractors, flooring contractors, etc.). Interested parties should verify with the U.S. Small Business Administration that they are certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Construction Small business concerns. Upon verification of certification as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Construction Small business concern, submit your company profile, with a letter expressing your interest in bidding on Coast Guard construction projects, to the U.S. Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit (CEU) Providence, 300 Metro Center Blvd., Warwick, RI 02886, Attn: Ms. Jean Bretz, Contracting Officer. Fax and e-mail transmittals are also acceptable.
