- Description
- The Social Security Administration, Region IV, intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the removal and replacement of entrance/exit doors. The contractor shall furnish all labor and material to remove existing doors (16 each ? entrance/exit) and replace them with automatic type doors. The contractor shall perform all work including any electrical work required for complete installation of the doors. The SSA facility where the work is to be performed is located in Birmingham, AL. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The Request for Quotations will be posted at http://www.fedbizops.gov on or about June 7, 2004 with quotations due no later than June 25, 2004. Paper copies of the RFQ may be requested in writing from: SSA, APMT-Attn: Marvin Miles, 61 Forsyth Street, Suite 22T64, Atlanta, GA 30303. A site-visit will be the responsibility of the prospective contractor. For site-visit, please contact Debra Pickle at (205) 801-1045.
