- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award one or more firm-fixed price new procurement contract modifications to Alliant Defense Electronics Systems (Alliant) under government contract N00019-98-C-0006. These procurements will include complete systems, Optical Sensors, Control Indicators, Computer Processors, Computer Processor Kits, O Level Test Sets for the USN, USAF, USMC, US Army, and various FMS countries in support of Global War On Terrorism (GWOT) urgent, emergent requirements. Alliant is the original manufacturer, prime contractor and only known source possessing the requisite technical knowledge, specialized experience, capability, tooling and technical data to fulfill these requirements. As the only currently qualified production source, Alliant is the only firm able to meet the urgent GWOT delivery requirements.
