Description
THIS PROJECT IS ADVERTISED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS PURSUANT TO THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM (OPEN TO EVERYONE). THIS PROJECT IS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), PERFORMANCE PRICE TRADE OFF (PPTO) SOLICITATION. Project con sists of demolition of existing asphalt overrun on the south end of the runway, adding 1000 feet of asphalt overrun and 1000 feet of concrete runway, and the addition of a new parking apron south of the existing apron. Project also includes extension of e xisting edge lighting, relocation of threshold lights, and area lighting on the new parking apron. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237310. Estimated cost range of the project is from $5,000,000 to $10,000 ,000. Solicitation documents should be available on or around 30 June 2004. Mr. Ed Slana is the Contracting Officer for this project.
