- This is an unrestricted procurement. FY04 OMA Pkg A-144, Rockfall Hazard Mitigation, Tripler Army Medical Center Boundary, Oahu, Hawaii. This will be a performance-based contract to remove 13 boulders ranging in size from approximately 4 to 10 tons from the hillside and stablizing designated rock outcorppings thorugh a commercially acceptable industry standard type method. In addition to construction, this performance-based contract will require the Contractor to acquire all necessary permits, cond uct public informational meetings with area residents, design and submit proposed mitigation methods and shop drawings, as well as all standard Corps of Engineers construction required submittals. The estimated cost of the proposed project is between $500, 000 and $1,000,000. The selection process will be consist of 2 parts. In Part 1, no more than three (3) Contractors will be selected. Selection will be based on evaluation factors which may include, but are not limited to (a) past performance, (b) simi lar experience, (c) past success in meeting small business program goals, and (d) experience of the assembled construction team. Final selection in Part 2 will utilize a Cost-Technical tradeoff evaluation. Traditional hard copies of plans and specificati ons will NOT be available for this solicitation. Solicitation plans and specifications will be made available for viewing and/or downloading via the Honolulu District Contracting Website: http://www.poh.usace.army.mil/pohct/contracting.asp on or about 29 June 2004. Solicitation documents will NOT be issued on CD ROM format unless the Government determines that it is necessary. If the Government determines that issuance of the initial solicitation on CD ROM is necessary, the CD ROM will be provided at no cost to self-registered contractors at the website mentioned above. However, the Government reserves the right to issue follow-on amendments to the solicitation website. It is therefore the Contractor??????s responsibility to check the Honolulu District Contracting Website daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. All offerors are encouraged to visit the Army??????s Single Face to Industry Website at : https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi to view other business opportunities. Offerors should regist er themselves on the Honolulu District Contracting Website to view/download a copy of this solicitation.
