- Description
- The Government has a requirement to provide continued Information Systems support to the engineering community in support of the Army Logistics Research & Engineering Directorate (LRED) for various on and off site groups. This effort requires full-time, on-site support (at Picatinny, NJ 07806-5000), with U.S. Dept. of Defense security clearance (minimum level-SECRET), and training level II and III certification as follows: Network Manager Security course ( #7E-F67/531-F22 HQ USASC&FG, Ft. Gordon, GA.)and Systems Administrator Security course ( #7E-F66/531-F21 HQ USASC&FG, Ft. Gordon, GA.). Work requires maintaining and monitoring the logistics specifications and standards information systems, accounts and connectivity to the current and future information providers as well as providing management and system administration support for LRED?s database systems. Also required is continued maintenance of the web-enabled database applications and providing updates and maintenance of database and associated accounts as required. Anticipated Period of Performance is 1 year commencing 10 July ?04 with one, 1 year option. Due to Gant Consulting, LLC?s unique expertise in working with the classified Intelligence and Security Automated Network (ISAN) and having all the necessary certifications, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a Sole Source basis with Gant Consulting LLC, Lake Hopatcong, NJ. This action is based on the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive Quotes. See Note 22.
