- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking offerors for design and construction of a bed addition at the VA Medical Center, San Juan, Puerto Rico. This is an unrestricted procurement which will be accomplished through a Two-step process. Step 1 will be the Technical/Qualifications Phase. Proposals for this step are due by 2:00 PM EST on July 19, 2004. The Step 1 evaluation will result in a determination of most qualified proposals within a Competitive Range. Step 2 will involve development of some design material and submission of price by firms determined to be within the Competitive Range. Award will be made using the Best Value Method. The bed addition includes about 210,000 SF of new construction and some remodel work in an adjacent building. The cost range is between $55,000,000 and $65,000,000. Step 1 documents will be available June 21, 2004.
