- Description
- Background: The mission of the Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Agency (NNSA), Office of Secure Transportation (OST) is the safe and secure transportation of nuclear weapons, special nuclear material, selected non-nuclear weapons components, limited-life components, and other materials for the NNSA/OST. The NNSA/OST coordinates and manages the Transportation Safeguards System (TSS) the Aviation Management program; the Albuquerque Emergency Management Program; the 24-Hour Transportation Emergency Control Center; and other special mission programs. Description: The Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Agency (NNSA), Office of Secure Transportation (OST) is seeking to identify qualified private sector vendors capable of providing the equipment/system that could provide complete nationwide cellular radiotelephone support services to the NNSA/OST. Services include providing new equipment when ordered, providing nationwide coverage with access to local and nationwide cells, airtime, billing, and network advisories. Requested Information: Please reference Statement of Work for detailed information. Interested firms are asked to submit information that provides (1) company point of contact and address/phone/e-mail, (2) cost estimates, (3) any other technical or contractual information you deem appropriate to aid the Government in their assessment of this activity. Responses are due by Friday, July 9th, 2004, and shall be electronically submitted to: Maria D. Vasquez at mvasquez@doeal.gov using the attached submittal cover sheet.
