Description
West Texas Telecommunications Project National Soil Information System (NASIS) Soil Interpretations Validation and Documentation Qualifications and Statement of Work Qualifications: Contractor must possess a working knowledge and at least 3 years experience in the design, construction, documentation, and standards for building NASIS soil interpretations. 1. Contractor will find and document errors and suggest improvements in 45 primary interpretation rules, 114 subrules, 139 evaluations, and 30 properties for the local water management, rangeland, wildlife, and engineering interpretations for the West Texas Telecommunications Project (WTTP) listed in Exhibits 1, 2, and 3. Contractor will provide a list of errors and propose fixes to rules, evaluations, or properties as necessary. Suggest the substitution of any national rules, evaluations, or properties for local versions currently being used. 2. Contractor will write or edit the documentation in accordance with current national guidance and standards for the 45 primary interpretation rules, 114 subrules, 139 evaluations, and 30 properties for the local water management, rangeland, wildlife, and engineering interpretations for the West Texas Telecommunications Project (WTTP)listed in Exhibits 1, 2, and 3. Contractor will copy and edit the rules, evaluations and properties and edit the descriptions as needed or provide new documentation descriptions in a Microsoft Word file. 3. Contractor will find and document errors and suggest improvements in 6 primary interpretation rules for the West Texas Telecommunications Project (WTTP) that use 28 California WMS subrules listed in Exhibits 4, and 5, and the California evaluations, and properties that they use. Contractor will provide a list of bugs and propose fixes to rules, evaluations, or properties as necessary. Suggest the substitution of any national or MLRA Region 9 (MO9) local rules, evaluations, or properties for versions currently being used. 4. Contractor will verify proper conversion of 19 local WLF interpretations to limitations from the suitability design they had when we adopted them. Contractor will document any recommendations for change to correct errors 5. Contractor will convert 7 local RNG interpretations listed in Exhibit 9 to limitations from the suitability design they have. Contractor will document any recommendations for changes to repair or enhance them. 6. Contractor will find and document errors in 26 primary interpretation rules and 80 subrules for the military interpretations in the West Texas Telecommunications Project (WTTP)MO16 listed in Exhibits 6, 7, and 8. Contractor will provide a list of errors and propose fixes to rules, evaluations, or properties. Contractor will copy the rules, evaluations and properties and edit the descriptions as needed or provide new documentation descriptions in a Microsoft Word file. 7. Contractor will write a non technical description of all rules that can be published in soil survey reports with soil interpretations tables and with soil interpretation maps generated on the Web for the average soil survey user?s. 8. The Soil Data Quality Specialist in charge of databases in MO9 will provide technical direction and check contractor?s work to see that it meets or exceeds contract specifications. 9.
