- Description
- This project consists of mechanical thinning by either whole tree harvest or cut to length system with a follow up treatment of masticating shrubs, trees less than 6 inches diameter and slash. Trees over 6 inches in diameter will be sold in a lump sum payment. A mechanical harvester or single grip harvester will yard trees to the landings with a forwarder system or a mechanical harvester which will sever the trees and then yard to the landing. The project is located on the Nevada City Ranger District, within section 33,T.18N., R.10E., MDM and may be reached via Tyler Foote Crossing Road.
