- Description
- This project is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Bessey Ranger District Bunkhouse site construction. The contractor shall supply all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, necessary permits, and all other incidentals to complete project work. Work includes constructing the foundation; clearing and grubbing; trenching and compaction for water lines, sewer, electric, telephone, propane gas; earthwork; aggregate base; concrete porches, concrete parking area, concrete entry road, concrete sidewalks; install CMP; seeding and mulching. Exterior finish work for the building includes constructing dormer roofs, porch canopies, siding and exterior trim, wood composite decking, asphalt shingle roofing, gutters, and downspouts. The pre-manufactured bunkhouse will be provided in a separate contract. The Contractor shall coordinate with the bunkhouse manufacturer for delivery and installation. The project is located on the Nebraska National Forest, Bessey Ranger District, Thomas County, Nebraska. This shall be a firm fixed price contract. Estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. This project shall be a total set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. See Note 27. It is anticipated work shall begin late July 2004. Performance period is 180 calendar days. NAICS code is 236220, size standard $28.5 million. This is an electronic solicitation only. All documents will be posted to www.fedbizopps.gov for download from this web site exclusively. It is anticipated the solicitation package will be issued approximately June 23, 2004.
