PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE POSITION OF REGIONAL AFRICA FOOD AID ADVISOR 1. SOLICITATION NUMBER: RFP 623-P-04-026 2. ISSUANCE DATE: June 9, 2004 3. CLOSING DATE/TIME SPECIFIED FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS: June 23, 2004, 1600 Hrs Kenya Time 4. POSITION TITLE: Regional Africa Food Aid Advisor Applicant must be U.S. Citizen. 5. CONSIDERATION: US Offshore Citizen Only. 6. MARKET VALUE: $62,905 - $81,778 per annum (GS-13 equivalent). Salary is not negotiable beyond this range. 6. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Two years basic contract with three one-year options for possible extension up to a total of five years. 7. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: This position will be located at Kampala, Uganda, due to security restrictions in assigning additional US Government staff in Nairobi, Kenya. If security situation in Kenya improves and restrictions lifted, REDSO/FFP may relocate this position to Kenya.
