- The purpose of this modification is to clarify timeframe and acres for this solicitation. The contract will be awarded with a minimum number of 236 acres to a maximum of 1400 acres. Work will be completed by September 2005, not 2006. All other information contained in the original synposes is correct. The purpose of this solicitation is to secure a performance based, fixed price, indefinite quantity contract for 2004-2005 field season for tree thinning, bucking, lopping and scattering, and/or hand piling on the West Big Summit Prairie of the Lookout Mountain Ranger District of the Ochoco National Forest. Work will be ordered through task orders. Additional work ordered will be the west side of the Big Summit Prairie. Work to begin approximately June 1 of 2004 and April 15 for 2005 Work to be completed by September 20, 2005. This project is 100% set aside for small business concerns. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (13-APR-2004).
