- Description
- The Government intends to execute an unrestricted procurement of commercial Liquid Nitrogen, Type II, Grade B, IAW MIL-PRF-27401D, dated 3 Oct 95, NSN 9135-00-965-2526; and Liquid Oxygen, Type II, Grade A, IAW MIL-PRF-25508F, dated 19 Oct 95, NSN 9135-00-965-2527, FOB Destination, with delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, New Mexico, and Florida. Estimated total quantities are as follows: Cape Canaveral, Florida, – LN2: 7,573 Tons and LOX: 9,798 Tons; Hickam AFB, Hawaii, - LN2: 1,500 Tons; Eielson AFB, Alaska, – LN2: 500 Tons; U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, New Mexico, - LN2: 5,100 Tons; U.S. Army White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, - LN2: 1,620 Tons; NASA White Sands Test Facility, New Mexico, - LN2: 8,880 Tons and LOX: 2,700 Tons; Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, - LN2: 6,600 Tons; and Pratt & Whitney, Government Engines & Space Propulsion, Jupiter, Florida, - LN2: 4,840 Tons and LOX: 7,250 Tons. The resultant award shall be a five-year, firm-fixed price requirements-type contract(s). The contract ordering period will range from 1 Jul 04 through 30 Jun 09 to 1 Sep 04 through 30 Jun 09. The product requires offerors to have the capability to support bulk shipments. Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 9 January 2004 and posted to the FedBizOpps web page at www.fedbizopps.gov. If you do not have Internet access, a hard copy of the solicitation may be requested. Only written, emailed, or faxed requests for solicitation received directly from the requestor are acceptable.
