- Description
- The objective of this project is to mechanically cut and dispose of all vegetative growth less than six inches in diameter, which interferes with sight distance or encroaches on the roadbed, ditch line, or culvert inlets and outlets, on the Gasquet, Orleans/Ukonom, and Lower Trinity Ranger Districts, Six Rivers National Forest, Humbolt and Del Norte Counties, California. The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and in conjuntion with the policies and procedures for evaluation and award prescribed in FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The type of contract will be Firm-Fixed Price with past performance/relevant experience and price as evaluation factors. . Interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33. The CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet at www.ccr2000.com or by calling 1-888-227-2423. The resultant contract will be indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) with a base period and a potential four option years. Estimated start date is May 05, 2004. Solicitation will be available for download from this website on or about February 18, 2004.
