Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISC,PS) in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF), has a requirement for 3 each Logistic & Escape Trunk Stowage Cradles manufactured in accordance with PSNS drawing X11212, Rev(a) and Production drawing revision notice B-3. A written certification of compliance is required along with all load test and NDT documents for each padeye tested and the recorded weight of each unit. The items will be delivered FOB Destination to PSNS & IMF, Bremerton, WA 98314. Required delivery date is September 01, 2004. In the event that the contract is not awarded based on initial quotes, revised prices will be submitted during a competitive, anonymous, on-line reverse auction. The estimated date of commercial Request for Quote (RFQ) publication is June 16, 2004. The RFQ will be set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. The RFQ and ANY SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. NO TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED, AND NO HARD-COPY SOLICITATION/AMENDMENT WILL BE MAILED OR FAXED. Electronic submission of quotes is not available at this time. Facsimile quotes will NOT be accepted.
