Description

Project for ?Replace Floors, CAC, Building 430, Sheppard Air Force Base TX, will be issued in the near future. Description of Work: Remove existing carpet and rubber wall base at building 430, Community Activity Center, ballroom and multi-purpose room. Repair and screw attach areas of the existing ballroom wood floor that squeak, and prep for new floor underlayment. Install new hardwood floor underlayment over the existing wood floor and prep for new VCT floor finish. Install new VCT floor finish at ballroom and multi-purpose room in the multi-color patterns indicated on the drawings. Sand, prep and refinish the existing wood stage floor, wall base, and exposed wood trim at front of stage. Cut down the existing wood stage front storage doors and install plastic laminate at the stage front per the attached drawings. Replace the existing door thresholds with new. Sand and paint the existing H.M. doors, frames, and metal panels. Performance period is 30 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All work shall be in accordance with the statement of work and drawings. Magnitude of construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation is being issued for FULL and OPEN competition. Applicable NAICS code for this project is 238330 with a size standard of $12 million dollars. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the electronic posting system (http://eps.gov/). Paper copies will not be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet and obtaining the solicitation documents and any amendments. Interested offerors must ensure they are registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive award of a contract.
