- Description
- The Defense Supply Center of Philadelphia (DSCP) intends to enter into Strategic Supplier Alliance (SSA) under DLA Corporate Contract vehicle with approximately 800 NSNs which are sole source only to SPD Technologies Inc. (Cage # 30086) for various “53” FSCs. An Add & Delete clause will be included in solicitation. The SSA is designed to improved product quality, faster delivery and elimination of backorders. The initial solicitation will require pricing for 494 core items. Prospective contractors should have Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) capability. Subject solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis with the resultant contract being an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for two (1) base years with three (4) one-year options. This will be a best value source selection acquisition in which technical merit is considered more important than price. Solicitation may not become available until the solicitation issue date approximately February/2004.
