- In accordance with the procedures specified in the revised OMB Circular A-76 (Attachment B, B.1), dated May 29,2003, this notification represents the formal public announcement of the results of the streamlined study of the custodial services function performed at the General Services Administration (GSA), Public Building Service (PBS), Mid-Atlantic Region's West Philadelphia Field Office, located at 5000 Wissahickon Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Government personnel consisting of 7 commercial activity FTEs represented the incumbent service provider. On May 27, 2004, the performance decision resulting from the Study was to perform the work through commercial sources. A solicitation or other contractual action, to perform this function through commercial sources, shall be forthcoming. In accordance with the procedures specified in the revised OMB Circular A-76 (Attachment B, B.1), dated May 29,2003, this notification represents the formal public announcement and official start date of a streamlined competition on the custodial services commercial activity function performed at the General Services Administration (GSA), Public Building Service (PBS), Mid-Atlantic Region, West Philadelphia Field Office, located at 5000 Wissahickon Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. PBS provides for the Federal Government?s real property needs by leasing, building and maintaining Federal office space. Government personnel consisting of 7 commercial activity FTEs represent the incumbent service provider. The estimated work years will consist of a base year and four option years. The designated Competitive Sourcing Official is Jan Ziegler, Assistant Regional Administrator for the PBS. Her point of contact is Jeannine Atwell. The responsible Contracting Officer is Mark Lewandowski, and the Agency Tender Official is Robert Hewell. The projected end date of this competition is May 30, 2004.
