While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command.? This is to amend solicitation number N66604-04-R-4117 posted on May 26, 2004. The description is changed to read the following: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Div Newport, RI intends to purchase a woven strength harness for towed arrays, qty (14) at 170 ft/unit. No termination, Velcro and Cloth sewn on cable. An award on a sole source basis to Woven Electronics, of Mauldin, SC is anticipated. They are the original manufacturer of the TB-29 Harness. No other known source has the technology to produce this item. No substitutions are acceptable. All other timely offers will be considered. A Firm Fixed price type contract is anticipated. FOB Destination to Newport, RI. NAICS code id 334419, size standard is 500 employees. Required delivery is 10 weeks after receipt of order. A solicitation is expected to be on our website on or about June 07, 2004. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/.
