- Description
- Scope of work includes but is not limited to providing labor, material and equipment necessary to replace the existing chilled water system at the United States Railroad Retirement Building (U.S.R.R.B.) located at 844 North Rush Street, Chicago IL, 60611. This project will require the demolition and installation of a new system consisting of piping, pumps, motorized valves, controls, and other associated equipment. Contract completion time is 120 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. All work is to be performed between the hours of 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This is a Firm Fixed-Price Negotiated procurement that falls under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program and will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220 with a small business size of $12 million. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $200,000. The solicitation documents will be available on or about 06/24/04. In order to obtain the solicitation documents, contractors must be registered at both the Central Contract Registration (CCR) and Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) websites. IMPORTANT: No Federal Material can be downloaded until registration has been completed at both sites. Contractors must first register with CCR at www.ccr.gov; this site is used by the Government to validate vendor identity. Upon completing the CCR registration, contractors will then need to register with FedTeDS at www.fedteds.gov, which allows contractors to download the solicitation once it is posted. At a minimum to all vendors must supply the following information: Company Central Contractor Registration (CCR), Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN), DUNS Number or CAGE Code ? contact Dun & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505 for further information, telephone number, and e-mail address. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading solicitation and monitoring Fedizopps and FedTeDS for amendments, if any, to the solicitation.
