- Indefinite Quantity Contract for Multi-Trade Construction, Various Locations, Oahu, Hawaii. The work includes, but is not limited to, providing all labor, transportation, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to accomplish various repairs, alterations, construction, and demolition work to facilities of Government agencies in the State of Hawaii using predetermined labor prices and adjusted material prices by means of an Indefinite Quantity contract. Under this contract, the Government may issue task orders for various types of projects using the latest edition of the R. S. Means estimating guide to determine labor hours, equipment, and materials. The scope of work may include building demolition, pipe lagging, road and airfield paving, fencing, roofing, painting, pool repair/resurfacing, site work, sampling, testing, removal, and disposal of lead contaminated paint and asbestos, certified welding, and masonry. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 236220 and the annual size standard is $28,500,000. Estimated cost: $20,000,000 maximum per year. The Government may award this contract to more than one contractor. The Government will give fair consideration to all awardees in placing orders based on criteria stated in the solicitation. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. Only the base period of the contract will offer a minimum guarantee. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 60 months. The Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil when it becomes available. All interested offerors shall register at the website to ensure that they are notified of updates or amendments to the solicitation as they occur. No other notice of solicitation activity will be provided to interested offerors. The proposed contract is limited to qualifying 8(a) firms serviced by the Hawaii District Office (HDO) of the Small Business Administration. The Government will not consider offers from other than 8(a) firms or from 8(a) firms outside of the HDO. 8(a) firms that are not serviced by the HDO, but that have a verifiable office and employees located within the geographic area served by the HDO at the time of this FEDBIZOpps announcement, are also eligible to submit offers. Firms shall submit with their request for the solicitation a letter from their SBA district office with a statement that the firm is in full compliance with the requirements of the 8(a) program. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical and price proposal for evaluation by the Government. Proposal receipt date is approximate.
