- This modification to the pre-solicitation notice provides information for offerors that the Special Notice has been posted to FEDBIZOPPS that provides further information on the Information Assurance acquisition and requests interested offerors to respond to a sample task. Information detailed in the special notice is restated below: Sample Task for N00033-04-R-8008 is posted to the MSC web site (www.msc.navy.mil) under Library of Common Documents N00033-04-R-8008 Sample Task. There are three documents posted 1) Sample Task Information 2) the Sample Task and 3) Sample Task Requirements. ). Interested offerors shall respond to the Sample Task by 11 June 2004, 1:00PM Washington DC time. Offerors failing to respond to the sample task by 11 June 2004, 1:00PM will not be eligible to participate in the resultant acquisition and will not receive a copy of the RFP. Due to the aggressive schedule to award this acquisition to support a contract start date of 1 October 2004 extensions for receipt of responses to the sample task will not be granted and no verbal communications will be entertained. Responses to the sample task shall be submitted to LTJG Christopher Lee via e-mail at christopher.m.lee2@navy.mil with a copy to Kristine Boyles via e-mail at kristine.boyles@navy.mil by the due date and time. Please note that no pricing information should be submitted with the sample task responses. No additional information will be available for responding to the Sample Task. If you feel there is not enough information provided you should proceed on the basis of your own experience and state the premises/conditions underlying your response.
