The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about June 22, 2004. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: This project is set-aside. Complete abatement of all lead-based painted building components on government owned, colonial style house located near the Town of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee. The house consists of five rooms, a front and rear porch, and an attached garage/basement. It is currently unoccupied. Abatement work is being performed as part of the overall modernization (rehabilitation). Abatement will include, but not be limited to, removal and disposal of all components testing positive for lead-based paint. The construction site is the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park (Ann White House) which is located in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee. Claiborne County, TN. The NAICS Code for this project is 562910 and the small business size standard is $12.0 million. This procurement is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A Pre-Bid Conference will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced on the specifications cover page. Quotes will be due 21 calendar days following the issuance of the solicitation.
