- The Government plans to issue a FFP Requirements contract with a base year and two (one-year options) for the following: 10 ea Filter Insertion System (FIS) Magazine assemblies per year, P/N: R66805, 16"L x 14H x 14"W, approximately 75 lbs. Contains 13 filter sers, which are loaded with filter media prior to use; 10 ea FIS Magazine Shipping Containers per year, P/N: R73693, 30"L x 30"W x30"H, approximately 45 lbs. Uses shock mounted system instead of traditional foam packageing to protect FIS magazine assembly during transportation; 4 ea FIS Magazine Loaders, base year only P/N: 73693, 36"L x 24"W x 48"H, approximately 50 lbs. Similar in design to a portable engine stand, allows field technicians to safety install FIS magazines into U-1B foil. These items are used in the Advanced Atmospheric Research Equipment (AARE). Government furnished drawings and specifications are not available. Note 22 applies(Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source)
