Description

Non-personal Services to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide and install 25 each 200-amp alternators with external voltage regulator. Must have a high dissipating diode heat sink design, support brackets, wire from OEM to separate A/C and OEM systems. Needs deep cycle marine style battery with support brackets. Also replace low amp relays and circuit breakers for system load. There should be a 13-month warranty. Alternators will go on a 1995 model G-30 Chevrolet Sport vans with V-8 7.4L engines (gas TBI RWD 4). The government will deliver and pick-up at a minimum of 3 vans per week until project is completed. Solicitation will be available on or about 10 June 2004 through the Electronic Posting System (http://www.eps.gov). The proposed contract listed here is restricted to small business firms. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 811111 with a small business size standard of $6.0 million. NOTE: Prospective offeror must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Registering may take up to 3 weeks to process. Contractors may access CCR at http://www.ccr.gov/. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
