Description

SYNOPSIS: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office (SCRO) Grand Prairie, Texas, plans to issue IFB-51002-6212 for an electrical distribution system which consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the complete installation of a new underground electrical distribution system at the Federal Correctional Institution located in Anthony, Texas. The work includes but is not limited to the following: removal of transformers and feeder conductors and installation of new outdoor unit substations, concrete encased ducts, feeder conductors, pull boxes, concrete pads and patching of all asphault, concrete and landscaped areas. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation will be available on or about June 15, 2004, with an anticipated bid opening date of July 20, 2004 at 2:00 pm local time. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
