- Description
- In accordance with OMB Circular A-76 (Revised May 29, 2003) the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is publicly announcing the start of a Streamline Competition for Information Technology Help Desk services. The Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) is Dr. Ed Sontag, Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, Department of Health and Human Services. The Contracting Officers (CO) are Lisa Schneider and Patricia Pemberton. The projected end date of the Competition is September 1, 2004. The Information Technology Help Desk services include tier 1 and tier 2 problem resolution, help desk systems, and other support services. These services are currently provided by twenty Federal government employees and SAIC. NIH will issue another notice to announce the decision of the cost comparison on or about September 3, 2004. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME.
