Description

Notice of intent to procure on sole source basis from Ocean Marine Industries Inc, a DIDSON, Dual-Frequency Identification Sonar (1.1 Mhz and 1.8 Mhz), designed to be compatible with the current systems, data and specifications in place now with the Northwest Fisheries Science Center, Newport, OR as well as the Alaska Fisheries Science Center, Seattle, WA. It is imperative that the two systems are identical in order for collecting comparable data, cross training, applying lessons learned from field and lab experiments and the development of collaborative research projects.
