- The work will consist of constructing a floodwater retarding structure. Excavation common foundation, 10,000 CY; Earthfill embankment, 53,000 CY; fine filter drainfill, 420 CY; class 4000M concrete, 62.4 CY; reinforced concrete 24 inch ID pipe, 230 LF; PVC 6 inch ID pipe, 670 LF; class B clearing, clearing and grubbing, pollution control, bermudagrass sprigging, wave berm vegetation, hay mulch, mobilization, coarse filter drainfill, topsoil, diversion, steel reinforcement, riprap, 10 inch slide gate, metal fabrication, permanent fence, and geotextile. All quantities are estimates. Performance time is 161 calendar days. Estimated price range is between $250,000 - $400,000. This procurement is set aside 100 percent for small business. The North American Industry Classification Code is 237990. Bid packets will be available on www.fedbizopps.gov on June 18, 2004. There is a site showing scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on June 30, 2004, at USDA NRCS Atoka Filed Office, 2341 S. Mississippi, Atoka, Oklahoma.
