- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard National Pollution Funds Center (USCG NPFC) is considering offering an award for replacement of a Best Industries UT320 UPS. Under the terms of this solicitation the vendor will remove the existing UPS unit and bypass panel off-site in accordance with all federal, state, and local requirements. The contractor will then provide and install one (1) 30/40kVA UPS. This system must allow all computer servers attended by the UPS to shutdown gracefully and provide a minimum of one (1) hour battery run time. This system must also shut down when the fire control system is activated per County code. Existing fire control system is a FM200. This will be a ?best value? based contract. Tentative evaluation criteria are Price Scalability (power and battery run life) Footprint Availability of maintenance sources Technical proposal (salient points but not limited to): o Alarms o EPO o Monitoring capability The confirmed bid evaluation criteria and contract will be available at the pre-bid conference at 1000 on 28Jun04. This conference will be held at our office located at 4200 Wilson Blvd., Suite 1000, Arlington, VA..
