Description

Scope of work includes but is not limited to providing all labor, material and equipment necessary to install a gas booster and motor starter as well as all associated piping, equipment, controls and electrical service. The project location is the EM Dirksen Federal Building, 219 S. Dearborn St., Chicago IL. Contract completion time is 30 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. All work is to be performed between the hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This is a Firm Fixed-price Negotiated Simplified Acquisition Procedure (SAP) procurement and is set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 with a small business size of $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $75,000. The solicitation documents will be available on or about 06/11/04. In order to obtain the solicitation documents, contractors must be registered at both the Central Contract Registration (CCR) and Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) websites. IMPORTANT: No Federal material can be downloaded until registration has been completed at both sites. Contractors must first register with CCR at www.ccr.gov; this site is used by the Government to validate vendor identity. Upon completing the CCR registration, contractors will then need to register with FedTeDS at www.fedteds.gov, which allows contractors to download the solicitation once it is posted. At a minimum all vendors must supply the following information: Company Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN), DUNS Number or CAGE Code - contact Dun & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505 for further information, telephone number, and e-mail address. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring Febizopps and FedTeDS for amendments, if any, to the solicitation. Offer due date and time for receipt of proposals will be 07/11/04 at 2:00 pm (CST).
