CARLTON, CONTRACTING OFFICER, FAX 256-955-9310. NO TELEP HONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. PRON: AX4J0102AX, NSN: 1560-00-996-3906, PN: 205-030-856-19, QUANTITY: 66 each with Two 100% Options, applicable to the UH-1 Airframe, with deliveries to Secaucus, NJ 07094-1617. This item is restricted to Bell Helicopte r Textron, Inc., Cage Code 97499 and Chem-FAB Corp., Cage Code 3H339, because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills , and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Production Lead-time with First Article Testing is 66 each 135 Days After Contract Award (DACA). Production Lead-time without First Art icle Testing is 66 each, 90 DACA. Production Lead-time with Article II Clause is 66 each, 113 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order t o compete for future solicitation by accessing the website ww.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under SAR information. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solici tation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offeror s must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. NOTES: 23 and 26.
