- DESC: Feed Pawl Assemblies FOR THE M249 MACHINE GUN, NSN: 1005-01-128-5476, Part Number 9348295 and NSN: 1005-01-128-5475, PART Number 9348294. This solicitation will result in a 3 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity award to a 100% small business set-aside for two Feed Pawl Assemblies. The minimum guaranteed quantity would be 60,000 each for both Feed Pawls. The items to procure are two Pawl Cartridge retaining, rear NSN: 5340-01-128-5475 AND 5340-01-128-5475, part is close tolerance an d machined from steel bar, hot wrought or cold finish, compsn 4140 or 8640. Heat treat, quech, apply a finish of supplementary treatment with lubricating oil. The approximately size is 1.25 in x .64 in x .288. FOB is Destination. For use on the M249 Mac hine Gun. Estimated issue date is 15 Jun 04. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue dat e by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and i s in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal is instructed to request it by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the intern et. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY04 requirement.
