Description
The purpose of this amendment is to combine the following two requirements as follows: PR Number(s): FD20200462009 Item: 0001 Description: PURPOSE: to secure engineering services for a contract to perform an engineering study for the design and requirements for firmware and software support for an Engineering Software Station (ESS) in support of the MSR-T4 (TRAINS) system. Contractor shall provide all labor, and other parts/materials and equip to accomplish this effort. Total Line Item Qty: 1.0000 LO. Item: 0002, Provide prototype engineering support station to support field problem resolution for software and hardware issues on the AN/MSR-T4 Turbo-TRAINS system IAW Statement of Work Par. 2.3. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. TO: EW SYSTEMS, PEYTON, CO 80831. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. PR Number(s): FD20200461828 Item: 0003 Description: PURPOSE: to continue with production and integration of narrowband hardware and software as a follow-up to contract FA42600-03-C-0033 and to establish a contract that requests supplies and services IAW Statement of Work in support of AN/MSR-T4 (TRAINS). Contractor shall provide all labor, and other parts/materials and equip to accomplish this effort. Supp. Description: Modify data monitoring to add EW mission data to the central database system IAW SOW Par. 2.1.1. Total Line Item Qty: 1.0000 LO PR Number(s): FD20200461828 Item: 0008 Description: Provide maintenance for the Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Parts (GFP) IAW SOW Par. 2.2, 2.2.1, 2.2.2., and 2.2.3. Total Line Item Qty: 1.0000 LO. Item: 0009 Provide upgraded motherboard for the Embedded TRAINS (TCR computer, a MUTES laptop, and a tower upgrade for the Gateway desktop for the AN/MSR-TR Turbo-TRAINS IAW Statement of Work. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. TO EW SYSTEMS, PEYTON, CO 80831. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. ATTENTION: Contractor must be registered with Central Contractor Registration to be eligible for contact award or payment from any DOD activity. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
