Description

This combined synopsis/solicitation is set-aside for small business, commercial items (non-personal services), prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. North American Industry Code 444190 with a size standard of $6.0M applies to this procurement. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FQ462508100200, which incorporates the provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-20. Department of Labor Wage Determination number 94- 2307 Rev (26) is to be used during the contract, www.ceals.usace.army.mil. The Period of Performance shall be 60 days after receipt of Aawrd. Prospective offerors shall be registered in Central Contractor Registration before award, www.ccr.gov. DESCRIPTION/SCOPE OF WORK 1. GENERAL 1.1. Scope of work. The Contractor shall furnish, deliver and install 140 each, Garage Tek Wall Storage Units system Brand Name or Equal. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items necessary for the operation this purchase order. The Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing and installing Garage Tek panels, complete with trim, and shelves with optional accessories available to add to the Tek panels at a later date. The organization system is to allow reorganization of the accessories by the housing occupants without damage to the panels. The panels will be custom installed, complete with trim. The dimensions of the panels are 12? tall X 10?, 3? long with 4 slots per panel running the full length of the panel. The panels are to intelock and to be custom cut and fit. The panels are to be installed in 140 garages located at Whiteman Air Force Base, MO on a garage wall with dimensions of 28? long X 9? high. Some walls may have exposed studs and some walls may have unfinished drywall. There are no windows or doors on the walls. The installation of the panels will include (2) each 4? X 4? shelves mounted 40? from the rafters in each garage. The shelves will have a capacity of 200 punds each. Submit the price list of the optional accessories available for purchase at a later date. The occupnats will be given 2 weeks notice prior to installation. The Period of Performance shall be 60 days after receipt of award. 2. All construction shall be accomplished in accordance with Whiteman AFB safety regulations, Federal or State regulations, OSHA regulations and local codes, special care and consideration regarding adjoining property and complete restoration should damage occur.
