- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) # 0149236, 0149283, & 0149285 and the provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-19. This solicitation is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The NAICS is 421110. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract for a specific make and model. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has a requirement for 2004 Toyota Model Land Cruisers (4 each), 4WD, colors: blue, white, gold pearl, and silver, 4 speed automatic transmission, 4.7 liter DOHC 32-valve V8, Standard Equipment, factory tint windows. The motor vehicle shall be of the original car manufacturer. Warranty Period: 3 year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper, 5 year 60,000 mile power train warranty, and 5 year unlimited mileage on corrosion. FOB Destination--Cincinnati, OH, 30 days A.R.O. Offerors are hereby notified that if your offer is not received by the date/time sent and at the location specified in this announcement, it will be considered late/non-responsive in accordance with FAR 52.215-1. FAR Provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items (Jul 2002), shall be completed and returned with the offer. FAR Provision 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999), offerors will be evaluated and award will be made to the responsive, responsible offeror submitting the lowest price, technically acceptable offeror, considering Past Performance information which shall include the same or similar products sold to at least three of your most recent customers within the last three years, stating the company name, point of contact, address, and telephone number, and meeting all the terms and conditions set forth in this solicitation. This solicitation includes by reference, FAR Clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (FEB 2002) and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (MAY 2001).
