- Project involves services for mechanically masticating and hand thinning and piling of shrubs and small trees (<11 inches DBH) within designated plantation boundaries and flagged Fuel Management Zone (FMZ). The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals necessary to complete the contract tasks. LOCATION: Weaverville Ranger District, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Trinity County, California. Project is located approximately 2 miles north of Weaverville, California off Hwy 3. PREBID MEETINGA prebid meeting is scheduled for this project on June 29, at the Weaverville Ranger District Office. See Solicitation package when issued for time. Work is estimated to start approximately September 15, 2004. Solicitation estimated issue date is June 15, 2004. The solicitation will be posted at this website for viewing and printing.
