- Description
- The Forest Service is in need of tree release/weeding and stand improvement activities to reduce conifer encroachment into a whitebark pine stand on the Challis Ranger District, Salmon-Challis National Forest, Custer County, Idaho. This project will be advertised as a performance-based written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The performance period will be 66 calendar days. Work is estimated to start July 12, 2004. Quotes are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, July 2, 2004. The solicitation will be available on approximately June 11, 2004, and can be downloaded from this site at that time. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. You may register at www.ccr.gov.
