- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security has a requirement for CDMA Type 1 secure cell phones. The Government intends to establish a contract with Qualcomm Incorporated for 250 each QSEC 2700 CMDA type 1 phones with a two year extended warranty, car power adapters, batteries, global chargers, and belt clips as well as 50 each secure data fill cables and DTD cables. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Responses must include sufficiently detailed information to allow the Government to determine if the responder is capable of meeting the requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by June 7, 2004 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
