Description
The Corporation For National and Community Service, a wholly owned Government Corporation, intends to award a contract to a qualified vendor who can provide lodging, conference space and meals for the AmeriCorps*VISTA Pre-Service Orientation in August 9-13, 2004 in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The facility should be no more than 10 miles from downtown Washington, DC. Double Occupancy Sleeping Rooms: 60-75-August 9, 2004; 60-75-August 10, 2004; 60-75-August 11, 2004; 60-75-August 12, 2004: Meeting Space: (Meeting rooms and at least 25% of sleeping rooms must be accessible to physically challenged individuals). General Session: 2 rectangle tables at front of general session room each day for presenter materials. 1-August 9, 2004 for 140-175 attendees set in rounds of six to eight 2:00pm-8:00pm; 1-August 10, 2004 for 140-175 attendees set in rounds of six to eight 8:00am-6:00pm; 1-August 11, 2004 for 140-175 attendees set in rounds of six to eight 8:00am-6:00pm; 1-August 12, 2004 for 140-175 attendees set in rounds of six to eight 8:00am-6:00pm; 1-August 13, 2004 for 140-175 attendees set in rounds of six to eight 8:00am-6:00pm. Federal Regulations require that any hotel/conference space contracted shall comply with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, the FEMA, Fire Prevention and Control Guidelines and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (http://www.ccr.gov). Proposals not complying with these requirements shall be considered non-responsive. All proposed prices must be inclusive. For example, audio-visual rentals and the cost of food must include gratuity if applicable. This announcement is for solicitation of proposals for upcoming training event.
