- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.wps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://neco.navy.mil. While it is understood the FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command.? This is a synopsis for items using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13. The North American Industry Classification System code is 541511. The FSC Code is 7030. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote (RFQ) Number is N00178-04-Q-3042. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Di vision intends to purchase the following items on a sole source basis from Vitech Corporation, 2070 Chain Bridge Road, Suite 320, Vienna, VA 22182. P/C ES-30-102, (1 EA) CORE Enterprise Server software & license; P/C EC-30-100, (5 EA) CORE Enterprise Client software & licenses; P/C EC-30-110, COREsim Enterprise Add-on software, license and annual maintenance services for each. A sole source procurement is necessary because Vitech Corporation is the only manufacturer and distributor of the software (proprietary) and is therefore the only source to provide the software licenses on their proprietary software. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Part 13. Anticipated award date is 7 June 2004 Pricing shall be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. THE GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. The Government will award a purchase order from this announcement to Vitech Corporation. Interested parties, other than Vitech Corporation, must be able to demonstrate, in writing, their capability to provide the requested items.
