- Description
- NAVAIR Orlando Training Systems Division intends on acquiring for Device 15F8H Serial Number 4, Contractor Turn-Key Support (CTKS) for the E-2C Hawkeye 2000 Weapons Systems Trainer (WST), from 24 July 2004 through 30 September 2004 located at Naval Station Norfolk, VA. As the Government does not, and will not, timely possess an accepted and validated technical data package to pursue a competitive acquisition strategy, it intends on pursuing a sole-source acquisition strategy to NLX Corporation, Sterling, VA. NLX Corporation is currently tasked under contract N61339-99-C-0084 to design, develop and fabricate a Hawkeye 2000 WST (Device 15F8H Serial Number 5) which is a follow-on to Device 15F8H S/N 4 and providing Contractor Turn-Key Support. However, the Device 15F8H Serial Number 5 tasking is inclusive of the design, development and integration of the full Hawkeye 2000 configuration whereas the Device 15F8H Serial Number 4 tasking does not possess these enhancements. This undertaking will retrofit the enhancements into Device 15F8H Serial Number 4.
