Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Druck Incorporated for one (1) AIR DATA TEST SET, p/n ADTS405-8325. This is required to perform precision calibration/verification of Pitot Statics on the MH-60R aircraft in compliance with Reduced Vertical Separation Minima (RSVM) requirements. This equipment is needed to generate precise pitot and static pressures for testing aircraft pneumatic instruments and air data systems. This set is man-portable, and has self-contained pressure and vacuum sources. It is of the same configuration as the existing Fleet assets currently being used, thus eliminating the need for any additional equipment to support the MH-60R aircraft. The proposed acquisition is Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings. The technical data and drawings for the AIR DATA TEST SET are proprietary to Druck Inc. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See note 22.
